Cape Coral, a permantely growing community, also known as the Venice of America has plenty to offer. Along with terrific shopping there are many holiday destinations which can be reached by car (Everglades, Disney...) or by boat (the beaches of the offshore islands of Sanibel, Captiva, Pine Island, and many local restaurants).
